Are You Coming Yet?

Good morning, baby girl!

You are 38 weeks along now and I'm so anxious for you to come! I think I ask your daddy, 'Is she coming yet?' about every 10 minutes and I am dreaming about you more consistently now. I have no memory of what you looked like in my dream last night, but I remember that you were perfect and that it was such a beautiful thing to hold you in my arms. Soon that dream will be reality and it really couldn't come fast enough. I have a feeling these next days until your birth are going to be suuuper long while we wait for the news that you are coming, and EVERY phone call or text is going to make me jump with anticipation. And guess what? every minute, week, and year we've been waiting for you will be absolutely worth it.

Love you SO much,
Mommy

Clara Says

I came across this poem the other day from Shel Silverstein's new book, Every Thing On It. The poem is called "Jake Says."

     Yes I'm adopted
     My folks were not blessed
With me in the usual way.

     But they picked me,
     They chose me,
     From all the rest,
Which is lots more than most kids can say.

I hope that you will understand how much you are loved because you were adopted, not despite it. We all love you so very much!

Can't wait to see you soon!

Love,
Dad

Your Nursery

Little One,

Your nursery is finally done (with the exception of newborn pictures being hung)! I really love how it turned out and I can't wait to bring you home to it. This is where we will read books and sing together, change your bum :), and rock and cuddle in the same chair my mom rocked me in. I can't wait for those sweet moments! I feel so blessed that I get to be your mommy and look forward to it every minute of every day.

^^^Your birth momma made you this beautiful night light ^^^
Love you, Clara.
Mommy

Forever

I can't wait for the special day when you become ours forever. I'm so grateful for the priesthood and sealing power on the earth!

Love you, my little! Mommy

Crazy Wonderful Thought

Hello beautiful girl, I just wanted to say that I love you :) You are going to be here so soon and I couldn't be more excited to meet you and to start telling you 'I love you' in person. Your daddy and I are literally counting down the days and are busily making sure that we have everything ready for you when you get here. Even though I hope you grow a few weeks longer in your birth mommy's tummy, it's crazy to think that you could be here any day. Of course, its a lovely, absolutely wonderful and joyful kind of crazy thought. And it's the only thing I can think about. I've never been happier. Love you so much, sweet girl! Mommy
